SGS DNA is a privately held, financially sound company. Our CEO and founder, Dr. Sune Kvist, is the main owner and several of the other share holders are working within the company. This gives a short, effective decision process and a very committed board. Since the start the company has grown gradually, making expansions and investments step by step. Today, we have some 40 employees and a production facility containing more than 20 clean rooms.

SGS DNA was founded in 1990 by Dr. Sune Kvist. The initial aim of the company was to provide scientists with high quality oligonucleotides, but already after a few years our focus shifted towards the In Vitro Diagnostic Industry. We early recognized the need for oligonucleotides with exceptional high purity, manufactured at the same level of safety and confidence as pharmaceuticals- and this is where we are today.

We are certified by ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003, we work according to cGMP/QSR and are registered at the US FDA as an ASR manufacturer. Today, we have many of the leading IVD companies as our customers. Our products are used in a variety of diagnostic and theranostic kits, which provides valuable information to physicians and patients all over the world.
